I used to say yes to every single thing.
I thought I could do everything and I would feel guilty if I said no to someone, but I didn’t.
With time passing by I figured that I was scared to say no most of the times because I thought that others would feel disappointed.
But then, one day I stopped for a second and asked myself why.
Why am I doing this? Is this worth it? What do I care about?
I was stressed out and I needed to change the situation.
Here’s something that you can do too.
- Know your worth.
- Respect yourself.
- Acknowledge that you can’t do everything.
- Don’t be afraid to speak.
- Be honest.
What can you earn from this?
- Less problems
- More happiness
- More confidence
- More energy
- More fun
We all hate disappointing others and it’s ok to be helpful, but don’t let anyone take advantage of you.
Learn to be comfortable by saying no more, and don’t feel guilty. Say no to things you hate or aren’t worth your time, you’re the only one in charge of your decisions.
